In July 2018 in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, we had a popup charity shop raising funds for Christadelphian Meal A Day, who support sustainable projects that focus on supporting vulnerable children, the provision of clean water, basic health care & education, and a meal a day.
As part of a competition, dozens of fantastically colourful HOPE stones were hidden along the front of Broughty Ferry. Prizes were given to the many children who found them and brought them into the shop – and a grand prize given to the person who found the most throughout the week. The lucky winner found a whopping 35 stones!
Although the shop has now closed, the hunt continues! We have re-hidden quite a few of them locally, but others have turned up in Carnoustie and some are on their way to Nottingham. If you find one, join in the fun with #SFHscot on Instagram or Twitter, and hide it somewhere else for the next person!
